SRS’ new process for PMP reporting (m-PMP) is designed to help pharmacies more easily comply with state control substance reporting (PMP) laws. PKon provides automatic reporting to multiple states. m-PMP reports controlled substance prescription data that is sold, shipped or delivered to states outside pharmacy’s home state.

What Is m-PMP?
The Multistate Prescription Monitoring Program is a state run program that is used to collect and report data about all controlled substances. Any group prescribing or dispensing controlled substances are generally required to register and report to respective states and their database. This Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP) is used to help the medical field and law enforcement agencies maintian and promote the proper use of controlled substances.
